Further to our member Bulletin 37 of 2017, the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 (HIGA 2010) has been updated and incorporates the recent changed within the award in relation to overtime for casual employees and flexible part time provisions. The changes within the award are effective from 1 January 2018.

We are also revising and updating our employee template employment contracts for:
- Full time employees
- Part time employees from 1 January 2018
- Casual employees as at 1 January 2018
- New casual employees from 1 January 2018
- Annualised salary employees (clause 27.01 of the HIGA)
- Managerial employees (clause 27.2 of the HIGA)
